Me and Amber is a design studio based in Sydney, Australia. The best friend duo, Karen and Amber, established the business in 2004 after graduating from Design at UTS.
The pair create simple and beautiful screenprinted stationery and homewares products. Each greeting card and notebook in their collection is screenprinted by hand, one by one, ensuring each piece is filled with character. Their tea towels are screenprinted onto pure linen, which is an incredibly durable and sustainable material.
They produce locally and keep the environment in mind with everything they do. Local manufacture is incredibly important to Karen and Amber. It makes sense on every level – environmentally, not transporting goods from the other side of the world; ethically, as they have a personal relationship with most of their suppliers and have worked with many for over a decade; economically, supporting local businesses and the local economy.
Their work is stocked in boutique stores and galleries predominantly in Australia. These include MCA Store, Koskela and Readings Books.
Me & Amber also design custom products and invitations for special events and corporate clients. They have worked for Bonds, T2, Ksubi and many more.
