The brand is founded by Teresa Tiong, who studied Fashion Design in Paris, and worked in the Australian fashion industry for over 10 years. She designed for Manning Cartell and Sass & Bide before launching her jewellery label Au Revoir Les Filles. The name means ‘goodbye girls’ in French, and has a little story to it. She was in a class full of girls in Esmod in Paris, and her beloved tutor Maria would bid everyone farewell at the end of each class with the words ‘au revoir les filles’. As soon as she heard the phrase, she knew it was going to be name of her label. It resonated with her… conjuring up stories of romance, a reminder of the beautiful city and the amazing friends she got to know.

Teresa is now based in Sydney, where she surrounds herself with beautiful objets d’art which inspire her pieces. She designs beautiful wearable jewellery for the modern women. Unique pieces that are feminine yet edgy, that add a touch of ‘je ne sais quoi’ and elevate one’s outfit. She wants every woman to feel confident in the way they look, and jewellery is a great way to add a sparkle to one’s day and make them feel special. All the pieces are great for stacking, and are perfect for those who want to express their creativity.
